CPL announces $250 000 prize for finalists

The Cyberathlete Professional League has announced that in New York City an event is scheduled on:

"Tuesday, November 22 with a head-to-head competition between the top two finalists with a combined $250,000, the largest cash prize ever handed out in competitive video gaming for one match. In addition, the tour points leader will be awarded the “Intel Player of the Year” title and take home an additional $20,000 and the Intel Gaming Cup."

The competition will be broadcast in partnership with MTV:

"on MTV Overdrive, the new broadband video channel from MTV.com".
