Fatal1ty wins CPL World Tour Finals
The Painkiller showdown at the CPL World Tour Finals in New York ended in a victory of Fatal1ty over VoO in four straight maps of 15 minute deathmatches. VoO came in to the tournament having won the last 5 of 9 events.

Congratulations are sent out to both finalists as Fatal1ty rakes in $150,000 as the champ while VoO gets $100,000:
"Despite losing the finals, Kaasjager was awarded an MVP trophy from Intel, an accolade for having racked up the most victories during the tour (he scored 3306 frags; Fata1ty nailed 3191). For that he won $20,000 and took $100,000 for his CPL second place for a total season earnings of $232,000. Still he wanted to win and was kicking himself for failing to take out Fata1ty during a late-match round that his opponent had forced into overtime."

Furthermore the CPL site is reporting that on Sunday November 26, 60 Minutes will be airing a story on electronic sports and the Cyberathlete Professional League.
